Participating customers (“donors”) can round up their purchases to the nearest dollar and donate their change to Rite Aid Healthy Futures, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization created in 2001 by the Rite Aid Corporation. Your nickels, dimes and quarters add up to big change.

With each donation, you’re helping kids lead happy and healthy lives.

Overall Guidelines

Any participation in the KidCents round-up program is subject to the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions apply to funds received by Rite Aid Healthy Futures through the KidCents round-up program. These Terms and Conditions do not apply to other sources of fundraising in which Rite Aid Healthy Futures may engage.

  • After enrolling in KidCents, Rite Aid customers who are Rite Aid Rewards members may choose to donate during individual transactions, or choose to round up their purchases every time they shop with Rite Aid.

  • If you elect to round up, your donation amount will be calculated by rounding up your purchase price to the next whole dollar. For example, a transaction of $10.82 yields a contribution of $0.18 to KidCents and an overall purchase price of $11.00 to the customer; similarly, a transaction of $10.25 would yield a contribution of $0.75 to KidCents and an overall purchase price of $11.00 to the customer.

  • All donations made to Rite Aid Healthy Futures through the KidCents round-up program are final. No funds will be returned to you.

  • When you make a purchase, a line item noted as “KidCents” will appear on your purchase receipt indicating the amount of your donation.

  • When a customer who has rounded up returns a purchased product to Rite Aid, Rite Aid will refund the underlying purchase amount only.

  • Rite Aid Corporation will collect all funds through the KidCents round-up program. Rite Aid Corporation disperses all KidCents funds to Rite Aid Healthy Futures.
